Mini Market Day!

Hi All,

We are having a mini market day in Room 18 next week to get ready for the real one happening in Week 10. In your maths groups you will have to design and market your own products that will be sold to the rest of the class. You will each have $100 (place value money) to spend on these products. As a group you must make marketing decisions in order to make the most of your products. The categories are: Sports gear, Clothing, Stationery and Toys. You will have time to research the internet for some ideas for your products. Below are some good places to start looking at designs of products.

Disney Toys


You will need to answer these questions before you are able to sell your products:

• What products are we going to sell? Why?
• What are they going to look like?
• How much are we going to sell them for?
• Why will our customers want to buy them?
• What are we going to do to our products to get people to buy them?
